This Privacy Policy explains how TuristX AI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the TuristX AI mobile application and website (the "Service"). Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent (e.g. for location access or marketing messages), performance of a contract (e.g. to process a booking or subscription), our legitimate interests (e.g. app security and improvement), and compliance with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Accommodation providers and partners, to fulfill a booking you make
• Payment processors, to process subscription and booking payments
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, who store data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations
• Analytics and crash-reporting providers, to help us diagnose issues and improve the Service
• AI service providers, to generate responses within the in-app AI travel agent
• Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of TuristX AI, our users, or the public
• A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service's features. We may retain certain information for longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and accounting. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information
• Withdraw consent (e.g. disable location access, or turn off push/email notifications) at any time
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Delete your account directly in the app under Profile > Settings, or by contacting us at turistx.ai@gmail.com

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than your own. Where we transfer information internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection.
